Tactical error
So there I am prepared to go into work on this Sunday with Elaine's mum lined up to babysit and then I find that the release is actually on the 19th. So given that Elaine's mum is still willing to sit the kids this leaves me free to join Elaine and Andy on their giant bike ride (well, giant by my standards). Which I reckon is about 4 times as far as I've ever gone before. And just to cap it off I have some new bike shoes from Wiggle which will let me try riding with cleats.
I don't think I'm going to regret it as I have good faith in my balance and stamina but I'll let you know. Besides, they've offered to do tea stops regularly so that should help.
