Religious Tolerance
One that made me laugh...
In the wake of the Pope's slightly thoughtless quotation regarding the prophet Muhammed, the Pakistani government en masse issued various statements of condemnation. One of these being something along the lines of 'Saying unkind things about Islam risks a violent response' (remember if you will that the original quotation was about Muhammed bringing nothing but violence to the world)
Regrettably this was delivered second hand on the radio because I'd love to see if they had managed to keep a straight face when they said it
