[ seki's finally given up and is coming to school of his own accord. at least most of the time. not that he's enjoying it at all.

so there's this scruffy looking kid sitting next to you in class. he's dozing off.

and he may or may not slump over onto your shoulder a bit. ]

[In Seki's ear there comes a whisper and a brief aura of presence close behind him--]

Kill them.

[--and then it's gone. No traces of there having been anyone else nearby, aside from the drones. Somewhere behind the drones a boy with a crooked baseball bat slung over his shoulder is watching, his gaze fixed on Seki.]

[ reflexively, seki punches the greaser. hard. enough to knock out a tooth or two.

but then he's whirling around, searching for the source of that voice. he looks notably alarmed, tense and on edge. briefly, his gaze falls upon slugger, but -- that can't be it, right? ]

[strike_you_out]

[When spotted, Slugger bares his teeth in a wide grin as if he can sense that reality is being questioned. The teenage drones don't appear to notice him but they seem to be getting rowdier.]

[desolavi]

[ that grin. it pisses him off.

seki punches down the first drone that touches him, giving him an absolutely vicious stomp to the ribs. shoving the others away from himself as he hisses in slugger's direction, ] -- the hell are you laughing at?

[strike_you_out]

[The bat slides off his shoulder but Slugger makes no move to advance. Instead he glides sideways on golden wheels to where the fallen drone is struggling to catch its breath and get up.]

Hearing things?

[Still grinning at Seki, he swings his bat down and the drone's face collapses inward at the blow.]

[ teeth gritted, seki growls when slugger glides over, stepping forward and reaching to grab his shirtfront, ]

Don't fuck with me, you --

[ he freezes, though, reeling back a step when the drone's face is beaten in. staring at the twitching form with an expression of absolute shock. ]

[strike_you_out]

[Slugger's grin has faded, but not entirely. That look of shock on Seki's face is enough to keep him sufficiently entertained. He spares a single, disinterested glance at the drone, whose movements are beginning to cease.]

Like it matters.

[Straightening, he lifts the end of his bat away from the drone's smashed in face.]

They aren't people. Not anymore.

[desolavi]

[ a small shiver when the bat peels away from that smashed visage, blood coming away in sticky threads. it's gross.

seki tears his eyes away from it and lunges to grab at slugger's shirt, hissing quietly, ]

I don't care what they are -- stop messing with me.

[strike_you_out]

[The hand snags his clothing just before Slugger can back out of reach. A pair of yellow-tinted eyes peer back at Seki, ensconced in the shadow of his cap's visor but still visible and notably wider than before.

He wants to mess with him more and ask him things like 'Am I real? Is this real? Are you losing your mind?' He's genuinely curious to catch a good glimpse of what's going on in Seki's head. However, his attention is soon diverted over the boy's shoulder where the drones are preparing to send over the biggest member of their gang.

Grinning once more, he suddenly fades from the head down to the ground and vanishes.]

[desolavi]

[ yellow eyes. that can't be natural. fist reeled back, seki's just about ready to beat some sort of answer out of slugger when the other just -- vanishes.

not to mention, he'll have his hands full fighting off these greasers now.

he's lost slugger this time, but he'll remember that face. he'll get his answer next time. ]
