Shannon and Josh were friends of mine from my days in Australia. They were going to the same teachers college on the gold coast, as Jen, and they were Canadian. We spent a lot of time out partying and drinking in between their classes over that year. I was closer to them then most of the other canadians that we met in australia... Both Shannon and Josh were very happy and fun people to be around and even though I have not seen them in a couple years (and only a couple times since coming home from australia). Its crazy to think that this happened last weekend. She died and he is having a hard time after being airlifted to the hospital.
