"DRINK MORE, IAN!!!"

I'm so confused...where to begin?

Let me first say thanks to Jessica for inviting me and thanks to the others like Dan and Priscilla for prevailing upon me to shoot the Bacardi 151 with them.

Yes, it was the first time I drank. I started with a jello shot (which by the way was my favorite) and moved onto bourbon & 7up and the coconut stuff and something and something and the Bacardi and something else and one of those Millers that Brian likes and yet another something. My repeated use of the word "something" means my liquor knowledge is still iffy. "DRINK MORE, IAN!!!" quoth Dan.

It was interesting too because I got to see other people going through the whole spectrum of drunkness, from the happy/dancing part to the barf/pass-out part.

It was "an experience", for sure....I mean I spent most of my time sitting around and being quiet like usual but I DRANK.......woohoo.

So, some of the good memories...shooting the Bacardi, sitting on the back steps to escape the music pagans and their angry amp god, walking to Albertson's, Jessica showing me what "Homestar Runner" was, the girl who said "I'm Drunk!! Are you drunk?! WHY NOT?!!!" (Alex?), and then smoking on the porch....there are plenty more but I don't like writing livejournals anymore.

BUT I have to disclaim that some of my "sit-down-and-shut-up" behavior at the party and at Applebee's later was due to the horrible disease I'm suffering from which involves a low fever, very painful swallowing, headaches and fatigue. So I was sick at the party...sigh, woe that it didn't have anything to do with the alcohol!

I think there are pictures of me taking shots! I want to see those.

I brought my camera but I didn't use it very much. There's not a lot to show but I might post something anyway.

Like I said before, livejournal bores me so I'm going back to sleep because my throat hurts...but the party was very cool and the people are awesome and now, when the next one comes...I anticipate being a little more...hehe..."participatory."
