Past few days...
I'll start off with Casa Loma. It was fun! They really cheaped out on the renaissance fair, I wouldn't go to the fair again since really all it was was a few vendors and people dressed up. But the castle itself was interesting. We explored all over and it was neat :) I took photos of the castle which I still need to get off the camera. I've never been in anything like a castle before, so I really enjoyed it and have gotten more ideas for my story.
On Canada Day we went to Downsview Park and ended up spending money on Icecream and Slushies. lol. The music wasn't bad, and one of the bands had two topless guys. One of them looked really fruity and mooned the audience later. The fireworks were pathetic, I really thought they would be something more.. but nope, they stunk. Although we amused ourselves. Oh! The band was called Hedley, they are the band that made the song 'Teenage Dirtbag'. Thats really the only song I recognized by them.
Today I went shopping, bought a pair of pants. hehe. I'm inbetween sizes right now so buying pants is difficult. :/ Their either too small or too big. So hopefully when I lose some more weight I can fit into the size I want. Bought some belts for my pirate costume, they were on sale 3 for $10 at Urban Planet. I thought that was cool :) I stopped in PJs like always and am happy to say they finally upgraded the store. The small animals have bigger cages and the puppies are no longer living on wire grates. *phew* Their rats were really cute, but they were black hooded and albino mostly. One of them looked like Lily's colouring and the other was a nice chocolately hooded rat. Really cute! Although unless I see some really unusual rats, I am able to constrain myself. If I see a blue blazed dumbo rex one day.. That rat is mine! Lol
I also got an e-mail in response to one of my cage wanted ads.. turns out she's in Richmond Hill and has a cage and supplies she'll sell me for $20. So I'm trying to get a hold of her so I can come see and hopefully get the cage tomorrow. She was too busy today, and so was I. So hopefully tomorrow :)
My Pirate Costume is almost done! PoTC 2 opens on Friday, I can't wait! I don't like my hair colour anymore. So I'm going to redye it as soon as I can. I think I want to go with an auburn or dark brown next time. I'm not liking the purple that much as it doesn't go with the colour brown. I was going to buy a new shirt but it clashed with my hair.. poo.. Ah well, it was an experiment. I just hope I can dye over it soon.
