it's official:
I'm bored with WoW. I go in the mornings, check my auctions, do the fishing and cooking in Dal and stand there for 15 minutes trying to drum up the ambition to get my mage to 80 (only 6 lvls to go). Nope, nuthin' there. Will I still play? *shrug* Truth be told, your guess is as good as mine.
I -do- want to write again, however. I mean the way I -used- to want to write. I think about it all the time, and can't wait to get my fingers on the keyboard to type out the next post. It's become my driving passion (blame David/Rev for this). And I can't say I'm unhappy about it either. I'm creating new characters, bringing old ones back to life. Oh I'm rusty as hell, as I'm sure most of you have noticed in recent LJ entries of my current plays; But the desire is there, the wheels are turning, and slowly but surely, the rust is receeding.
Sanguinem Draconis is beginning to buzz with life. New realms, more and more registrations everyday. New people just discovering the site, former denizens returning, finding it much the same as when they left. We are home and we are consistant (mostly because I'm a lazy site owner). Very little changes and perhaps that is what people are finding pleasant, comforting, reassuring. I cannot speak for them, but I do know what I'm told.
You're invited back to share in this...renewal. Come along, follow the yellow brick road, you don't need the ruby slippers, home has always been (and will always be) only a mouse click away.
Leave the attitude behind. I hold no grudges. That is not what this is about. What this -is- about, is telling stories, writing, roleplaying, chatting...to hell with site wars and site politics. Honestly? I just don't give a flying lefting fsck through a rolling doughnut hole. That is truth there, I found my I don't care button a few months ago and took advantage of it. I don't care, more than I can possibly tell you I don't care. I want to roleplay! If that's what you want too? That is what you'll find on SD. What we intend to build and rebuild upon.
Once again let me assure everyone that we are associated with no other sites. We pride ourselves on our independence (even if it has cost us in some areas). We are on our own server, and run things our own way.
