How the tides change...
Today is the first day I have been in a Starbucks since I have left the company. It was weird when the people know you and ask for your partner numbers and you have to tell them that you don't have them anymore. It was kind of awesome though when the manager wouldn't look at me. What do you say to a former employee who you helped trained? Not much I guess. Either way I am excited. A new career path already ahead of me that will pay off in the long run and help me achieve the time I need to focus on writing.
Speaking of which, I have done very little of lately. It's amazing how when you have time you fill it up with everything else and not writing time. I hope this all changes when we move into our new apartment. I am hoping to have our own office area within the house where I can work on work and writing. I am planning it in my head but I really need to be able and get into the space to be able to see. It's so frustrating, they don't even have pictures online for all of us to look at. So all I have is a faded memory from the end of December.
So the newest Hunger Games trailer came out today. It looks amazing. I can some things that they have changed. Such as Katniss giving the Mockingjay pin to Prim instead of Madge giving it to her and then Cinna sneaking it on her outfit but neither of those things bother me. I think I might actually love this movie. I deal with other such as the first few Harry Potter's and the first two Twilights although I pretty much hate the casting for the latter. I love the casting for The Hunger Games. The more I see of them, the more I love them. On a much sadder note, the casting for the Host is by far some of the worse casting I have seen in a while. While the Host isn't as popular as the Twilight books it is much better and will probably make a better movie and yet the characters all looks so young. This isn't some teeny novel but a bunch of young adults living on their own in the alien invaded world. I was excited for this movie but I no longer have faith.
Also The Woman In Black comes out tomorrow and I can't wait. I'm pretty sure Mike and I are going asap. I have been saving up a giftcard to see this movie. I will post a review on here tomorrow.
Didn't get any writing done today. I might get some up tomorrow so I have something besides my crazy thoughts on here.
