1) I hate people who think women's bodies, minds, and lives are up for discussion just because they're in public. So many men have told me to "smile!"- that I'd be so much prettier if I smiled more. They don't seem to realize that not putting on a stone-like exterior while in public leaves me open to harassment. Hell, I've already been jerked off onto while riding the Green Line. I don't owe any stranger anything unless I feel like it. [not that I never smile or talk to strangers- it's just something that I like to happen organically]

2) I baked oatmeal raisin toffee cookies this afternoon to take on a trip to see friends. You are more than welcome to come over and make something with me sometime. Sorry, to be a pest- I just know we're both shy about these sorts of things. Also, I'm flakey and know if I don't say something now I'll forget.
