Not The Tip Tap Trio

Thank goddess February is over - it was a losing month for the Detroit Red Wings and one can only hope that with that month behind them the Wings will pull themselves back together and realize how much of a good team they really are. I always believed in you, boys, and it's nice to see that you're believing in yourselves again too! On the same note - Rangers may have fallen in the shoot-out to the Islanders (though Dawes has almost established himself as an accredited shooter) but the Devils got themselves a victory against the Maple Leafs last night thanks to Parise's two goals and Brodeur's solid, solid play. Good man.

Me and Lee ended up staying an extra day in Munising because I wasn't ready to leave. Lee gave in (^-^) so we stayed another night for games, conversation, animals (like Caboose and Pippin) and general good times. A little sad to leave it all today, I really do like being there for short amounts of time but know that long stretches drive me insane, yet it happens. I'm almost confident that my brother has finally been talked to enough so that he realizes what a good idea Northern, with it's Electronic Imaging degree, really is. He just has to take his ACT... bite the bullet, Kid, and look at the future. He decided against DeVry due to it being as expensive as Northern with living expenses so... yeah. It'd be cool. I also remembered Boone's Farm Apple Wine last night, so me and mom split half a bottle of Green Apple. The dogs went absolutely insane at the smell and wouldn't stop trying to drink it - little alchies waiting to happen.

Upon arriving back in Marquette (after Lee's antics on the bus due to her itty bitty bladder) we headed over to Sean and Gen's for tea and blanket forts. The fort itself was actually pretty epic - took up the entire living room (Sean even got lost when he went into it) - and the tea was nice. As was conversation, looking at all of their books, reading The Crucible for the first time since middle school, home-made pizza, Shannon coming over for said pizza plus the Red Wings game, the Princess Bride for just the second time, more epic conversation that I don't think I can altogether repeat here [such as lesbian-titles, feminism, etc. etc.] and the borrowing of a book titled Druids. We finally left, but it took awhile, and ended up bringing some of the pizza along with us.

Now I think bed will occur. Tomorrow is full of more fun - what with going downtown with Sean and Gen to the Moonstone Gallery, and then to pick up the mug I made for Lee at the Hot Plate!!! I'm really excited to see how it, and Missy's, turned out. Also to see all of the stones and gems that they have at the Moonstone. I'd really like a new piece of something to add to my room to make it feel nicer. But yes - bed time, I have a Lee to cuddle with, which is an improvement on Pippin and Maggie (though they are good for a cat and dog).
