There Will Never Be Another
This day was made of so much awesome for the majority of it that I am amazed by it. Seriously.
First off - my three o'clock Public Administration class was canceled (yet AGAIN!) so I was kinda peeved. But it was okay, because it left me more time to make the Pokemon icons that Lee wanted. Yes, I am serious, I watched the whole movie to screencap bits that I thought would make good icons for her. What I do for love... anyhow! The good part to class being canceled is that Missy messaged me around three to ask if I wanted to go to the Hot Plate with her. The Hot Plate is a place full of ceramic objects that you paint/decorate to your liking for a reasonable cost, and I'd never been. So we went there - she had to make mugs for each of her brothers, done in the colors of the universities they graduated from. I originally was there for moral support and the fun of it, but then I saw this mug... and I got this idea that I could make it look good, so I had to try it too. By the time it was over I had paint all over my hands, Missy looked like she was ready to murder someone while laughing and we both had decided that we were coming back before the end of the year and taking Lee along, because we want to see what she would come up with when turned loose there. And I want to at least make something for my mom.
Secondly was the Jazz Concert in part, it was really good (even if the Tech barry sax player wouldn't stop staring at me and Cyndi, but it wasn't bad since she was pretty (not prettier than Lee)) this year. After was the good part though, going to Vango's with the band kids. At first I was more apprehensive than Cyndi, due to having never been before, but then I settled down and it wasn't too bad. Even if the Tech guy sitting next to Lee was blatantly flirting with her. I was slightly jealous of the drink Cyndi had - I only have three days until I'm legal!, but it was all good and Ryan was hilarious.
a.k.a. it was good to spend time with friends I don't see much. Very good.
So yeah, good day. Can they all be like this, or similar? Spring Break should be good with all the busyness that it'll be. Time with Genevieve and Sean; out to dinner; trip to Munising and (best of all) my twenty-first birthday and all that comes with it. ^-^ I'm liking this semester more and more as it goes. Tomorrow is lunch with Genevieve and Sean, then retrieval of keys, then Wii with Cyndi and then... something? I don't remember if there was anything there, actually >.>
And if any of you liked Sydney White (or know what it is) I made 100 icons of it that I stuck over here, soon to be complemented with even more, 'cause I have too much free time. ...and Pokemon icons, because Lee wanted them.
