That Little Bit of Something
"Good Part of the Day": Lee's purchase of a box filled with six boxes of Lady Grey tea arrived... a.k.a. one hundred and twenty tea bags. I am pleased with this.
Yet again, I received a transfer student handbook from Cornell University. Uhhh... what the fuck? I don't want to go to Cornell, nor have I ever expressed a desire to go to Cornell. It's like Cambridge -cool offer and all, but no. Wait, no it's not, I actually considered Cambridge. Never Cornell.
This assignment that Carlson gave my Public Administration class is pure bullshit insanity. And that's putting it nicer than it sounded in my head. Government agency? Check. Explain said agency? Check. List all of the agencies under it? Che- wait, WHAT?! I picked the Fish and Wildlife Agency, and there is at least one agency underneath of it, if not more, per state. *freaks out* I cannot list each of those agencies and different things that each of them do since they do the same exact thing. Followed by the pros and cons of each... in a short, one page summary that is not a paper... This confirms my firmly held belief that Carlson is some sort of senile. Nice man, I'm sure, but senile professor. A sane one would have had the decency to email the assignment out more than one day in advance of it's turn-in date when the last class was four days prior.
This is why I am not watching Buffy with Jessica and Amanda - I do not have the time, nor shreds of sanity, necessary to multi-task this assignment with that. I shouldn't even be writing this, but I needed a break before I passed out from sheer exhaustion - work is way too early on Mondays.
...now is when the vampires should attack. It'd give me a good excuse for not finishing.
I haven't had an assignment frustrate me to the point of tears in over a year... damn.
