Chill Bites Before It Comes

So... 30 Days of Night... wanted to see it really bad, so I saw it. (Let's note here that I am notorious vampire movie lover, as well as the girl who gets freaked out by horror movies and has nightmares for the next few nights.) Upon leaving Bailey, Hilary, Lee and I came to the agreement that it was extremely bloody, gory and twisted. But, other than that, it really wasn't that good of a movie. I am pleased that the people I had thought would be offed quick (the two dark-haired women in the diner) actually survived, but the majority just... died. Then again, that was the plot, vampires attacking a town in Alaska during the thirty days when the sun doesn't rise and destroying all of them so that no one knows what happened... and Kristen wants to go to school in Alaska... yeah, right, she hates the dark!

West lost to the East in the All-Star game, but it was still good fun. As was going out to Wetmore Landing for picture taking and hiking earlier in the afternoon. It was below thirty, but above twenty, and not windy so boots, hat and sweaters were the outdoor gear. I may have just had my little film camera, but I got some pretty awesome pictures, and I can't wait to get them developed.

Now I had best be getting to bed - have to be up around seven to go to work before class. Joy and rapture, eh? Only first, I want to finish looking at this Nintendo DS stuff. I think that I want one.

And yes... I am delaying to stave off the inevitable nightmares. I need to stop feeding this horror movie addiction of mine, I know what happens every single time. The entry light is SO getting left on.
