It's A Bad Idea When Cousins Marry!

I have, after at least two months of inner conflict and argument and research, decided which NHL teams I support in addition to/only when not playing against the Detroit Red Wings. They are the New Jersey Devils (it's partially the name, partially Parise, and partially Brodeur) and the New York Rangers (it's for Lee's sake, really it is :P ). On the mark of the AHL I do support the Milwaukee Admirals (not just for Santorelli, but he's a big part - they also had a briefly lived belief in Bateman), the Chicago Wolves (which is, pretty much solely, for the sake of Nathan Oystrick) and the Hartford Wolf Pack (another for the sake of Lee, though they are pretty good and their logo is awesome). Okay - the Grand Rapids Griffins have my support despite their lack of awesome if only because they are affiliated with the Red Wings.
Ahhh yes. On Saturday Lee and I gave salvia (a completely legal hallucinogen that most people don't know exist) a go, but we didn't smoke enough to actually have the supposed effect. Instead, it made us really mellow for a bit over an hour, and for the first ten minutes my hand was slightly transparent... we're going to give it another go when it's not negative eleven fahrenheit without the wind outside. So, you know... in April.
Now I'm going to go play the Sims2 (seriously, I really do love that game, it's entertaining as all hell) and pass out before too long. I have a couple of hours to nap before Lee gets back and the house meeting. Aaaaaand I have an idea to continue my Weasley family trip to Egypt fic that only has one chapter at the moment. Heh ^-^;
And the fact that there will be NO MORE GOLDEN COMPASS MOVIES makes me want to smack every Christian Right Extremist who boycotted it right into Lake Superior. Seriously, how lame can you people really get? Not impressed with you. At all.
ETA: Eddie Izzard saying "fantastic" makes me giggle - especially since I have now met someone (a.k.a. Maggie) who says it in the exact same way ^-^
