Katie's Wake-Up Call: Hopper settles down on chest. I open my eyes, and all of the dogs - who have apparently been watching and waiting for this exact moment in time - go insane and lick my face, jump up on me, etc. etc. until I think I'm about to pass out from it all. Insanity, I'm telling you, pure insanity.
I have eggnog ^-^ Best part of coming to mom's for Thanksgiving time is that there is eggnog involved, because she loves it just about as much as I do. Of course, there's also the animals. I'm trying to talk them into letting me have Pippin when I have an apartment, but it's looking like a no go. Caboose, however, will be mine at the soonest date. As in, if I don't have a roommate next semester, I will have a hammie back.
I also have a Care Bear bandaid, because my cut isn't scabbing quite right so I can't trust it on it's own. A little too afraid that it'll just split open again.
Lake Superior is really pretty today - all dark and wavy and frothy. It's snowing and windy, so yeah, I like it. Maybe I'll go down there later, before I bug mom and Kid at Subway. Just got back from an insane bike ride down this huge hill, and let's just say that gloves would have been a really intelligent idea. I want to warm up a bit before I brave the cold again.
And I have this thing called a Johari, because
elvenkitty had one, so go fill it out for me, please!
Katie's Johari It really doesn't take that long and it'd make me haaaaappy.
