So State and Local Government wasn't really that worthy of notes today. As in we spent the entire time discussing Northern's budget, the problems within, and various things that could be cut or raised in order to improve it. I took part, there's no way I couldn't have, but most of the time was dedicated to a different cause that my brain actually stayed still for.
The plot bunnies attacked my brain and I now have a page and a half full of information about a character that would be pretty good as a main or semi-main for a fantasy story. Yeah, I'm planning for NaNoWriMo and it's looking like I'll be doing fantasy instead of that LGBTQA one that I was thinking about last night. Not that that isn't a good idea, I just don't think that I would be able to write it in one month, even with a month of planning prior to it. Plus, after the bunnies gave me this idea, I realized that it would keep to a pattern. My first year I did real-fiction, my second year was fantasy (which I went over 50K for), my third year was real-fiction, so fantasy this year would just keep to that. I tend to be better with fantasy anyhow. I admit it, I like things that aren't real as much if not more than things that are. I call it a result of a childhood where I buried myself in fantasy worlds and refused to come out unless it was for class.
I am looking forward to NaNoWriMo. My brain quite possibly isn't since it is always an exercise in insanity, but eh, that's why I do it.
It smells nice out here, like the beginning of autumn. Doesn't sound too nice outside of my earphones though, thanks to idiots in the parking lot next to the library who seem to think that it is a brilliant idea to lay on their car horn. Doesn't do you any good at all, genius. I should feed you to my plot bunnies, some of them are pretty damn nasty.
