My new home for the next 12 weeks...
So I was just going through my schedule and this fall I have 5 classes that are located in Boone. I like the science building ok, but sometimes it's nice to see the outside world. I do have on policy class in KAIC so that's good. I'm actually really looking forward to classes starting, and tomorrow I get to buy my books which I enjoy doing (other than the ungodly amount of money I have to spend) because I like getting new books...they make me happy =)
I applied at Albertson;s this morning... I would really rather be a server but since I have no experience I prob have a better chance of getting a job here. And it is right next to campus which is awesome since gas prices continue to skyrocket. I think it could be fun, I'm just looking forward to interacting with lots of people more often.
Last night Anna and I wandered around some houses, including the Kappa Sig house, with Darla and Grace trying to find something to do but everything was empty. Eventually we walked into Carl's house and there were a few people playing video games but we left after a short time to meander across campus. Saw a couple of people in Anderson but that was about it. Then we saw the sprinklers on and I couldn't resist the urge to strip down and run through them. There were 3 guys on the other side of the quad but I dont think they noticed. It was quite invigorating. Then I got dressed again and as we walked by the fountain by Boone I decided I wanted to jump in that too but I didn't stay in for long...it's just not as much fun by yourself. Then we came home and I eventually went to bed.
We are wanting to have a party this Friday or Saturday but we are waiting to see what Dimitri thinks since he is getting back tomorrow and may just want to chill for a while. If we do though I will be sure to let everyone know so keep an eye out on lj. Talk to ya all laters.
