The Spence Legacy - Generation 3
Hey guys! I am back (finally) with an update. I am sorry that it has literally been almost 2 months since my last post. As many others have said, and I have said earlier life has caught up with me and I didn't have much time to play let alone write. But, things have come up now that will be giving me more time to write and enjoy the sims. So, (no promises) hopefully I will be able to update a little more consistently.
I think I have caught up with all your posts, but if I haven't honestly just tell me and I will ASAP.
Also, I will warn you that I took these pictures and played this update over a month ago, so there is some memory lapse with why I took certain pictures but hopefully that doesn't ruin the whole update. It is also mostly just a relationship chapter so I probably should have posted it before the heir poll, but meh, all is good.
Thank you to everyone who has and will stick by me through my many absences, I really really appreciate it, more than you guys know.
Anyways, let's get on with it, shall we?
Everyone meet the future spouses of generation 3!! It's super exciting for me because this is the first time a legacy I have posted as made it to the third generation! I know that it's not a big accomplishment for most of you that post on here, but it is for me, so I hope you share in my excitement (even just a little bit?).
From left to right, the first spouse is Serena Douglas. Serena was made by me with Reed in mind. She is kind of feisty (and has to be to handle Reid's grumpiness) but she will also be able to hopefully mellow him out and show him that life isn't as hectic as he seems to make it.
This gorgeous girl is Janessa Stevens. She is also made by me and was actually a legacy founder before I decided to focus solely on these guys. The only traits I remember that she has are Family-Oriented and Childish. She was (as you already know if you read the teaser) chosen with Ethan in mind so we will be seeing a lot of her when they age up.
This is Aurora Savio. She is originally made by the lovely tyrfish. With no CC she looks incredibly different but still stunning. I promise I didn't change any of her genetics! Being the only adult in the household I'm sure you can figure out that I chose her for Maddox simply because I absolutely loved her in SOL and though she and Maddox would be pretty adorable together. As you can tell, she is a vampire which surprises me because I don't have late night or supernatural installed, but she seemed to keep her vampire genes. Again, the only trait that I remember of hers is family-oriented.
ps. if you see a difference in the pics after this point it's because photobucket refused to save my edited pictures over the original and I gave up on it.
Last, but not least is the only boy of the household Logan Trust. He is also created by tyrfish and is of course chosen for Chloe. Logan was my favorite secondary character so I had to chose him to become a part of the legacy and I think he and Chloe would inflate each other's egos just enough to make it work. I don't remember any of his traits... I'm sorry. But I do know that his character is portrayed like a badass with a soft side and I think with Chloe's inappropriate nature and snob-like demeanor the two of them somehow fit.
And that's it for the spouses, so let's get on with the actual update now.
With Maddox already being a young adult and me being impatient I immediately sent him over to get to know Aurora. Without any help of my own he immediately started flirting with her and chatting away as if they were old friends.
Maddox: I don't know what it is about you, but I can't help myself. You're intoxicating. All I can thing about is how you and I would look together.
Aurora: That may have something to do with me being a vampire...
Maddox: I don't care what is is to be honest. I just don't want to waste another minute. You're beautiful Aurora.
Aurora: T-thank you.
Aurora: Mmmph.
When he did this I honestly had to hide my face a bit, I was so worried about him getting rejected. I love him so much.
But alas, she obviously couldn't resist him as much as he couldn't resist her <3
Maddox: That was ...
Aurora: Perfect?
Maddox: Mmm...
Maddox: I just met you, and this is crazy, but be my girlfriend ... maybe?
*cough* I didn't steal that at all... *cough*
She said yes by the way.. duh!
Maddox: Let's take a selfie! Get in here.
Aurora: You are kind of nuts, Maddox Spence.
Maddox: You love it. Now smile!
So, this happened. What can I say? I love these two, but I was WAY too excited to get onto the next generation... He moved in with her. Bye my gorgeous man <3
Let's take a little break in the romance department to remind you that Ethan indeed won the heir poll and he and his crazy personalities will be soon taking over. Well, relatively soon. He's still pretty far from becoming a YA...
That also means that this unrendered evil soul will no longer be in control of the legacy. She is obviously grief stricken... right?
Back to the romance! I sent the teens to the house to meet their future spouses. They're clearly thrilled about the whole thing. Why anyone would trust the insane one to drive them safely even just down the street is beyond me...
Those awkward first encounters...
Ethan: YES!! I get the cool one!
Janessa: Uh, what?
Ethan: I just mean that, you look really cool and I can't wait to get to know you.
Janessa: Oh. Well, thanks. I think.
Logan doesn't look too impressed in the background there...
Reed: I think I could get used to this..
Serena: To what,exactly?
Reed: Seeing your face as often as possible.
Serena: Well, I guess we'd better start now then.
Where the Spence boys obviously have charm, Chloe has the ability to be an idiot... whatever works.
Aurora: Woah! The teenagers multiplied! I did NOT sign up for a hoard of teenage emotions!
Aurora: Where are they all going to sleep?
Deep breath Rory, they aren't staying.
Aurora: Oh. Good.
Mass teenage flirting... things are progressing nicely for all three couples.
Janessa: You're it!
Ethan: Oh come on, Janessa! I'm always it! Can we please do something less straining?
Janessa: Like?
Ethan: Stay right here!
Ethan: Let's build a snowman!
Janessa: This is way less fun than playing tag.
Ethan: Give it a chance Ness, I promise, you'll like it.
Janessa: Fine. But if my fingers freeze off, it's your fault.
Serena: Your little brother and Janessa are so immature! How are they ever going to be able to take over a legacy? It should have been you Reed!
Reed: *giggle snort* You think?
Serena: I know.
She obviously said the right thing... <3
Ethan: So, did you have fun?
Janessa: Yeah. You were right, of course.
Ethan: You look so pretty in the snow.
Janessa: Really?
Ethan: Really.
Ethan: Be my girlfriend?
Janessa: Always.
I'm so not original today...
This too is fast. Yep.
Reed: Serena, will you be my girlfriend?
Serena: Really?
Reed: Y-yes?
Serena: I'm sorry Reed, I like you but this is too quick for me.

This guy had gone off to work ad Chloe sat in the house reading while she waited for him to come back. That's not creepy, is it? Apparently not to Logan because things picked up right where they left off with them. All teens successfully courted.
And then my game crashed.
That wall? That's the computer screen. I raged quit and then came back to it literally a few weeks later. I was pissed. First crash in a LONG time.
The next time I opened my save I just cheated and set all their relationships to boyfriend and girlfriend because I couldn't be assed to try and re-do that all. I also installed Generations around this point.
The only good thing about the crash is I got Maddox back! <3 I seriously love him guys. Was considering doing a spin off with him cause I actually really wanted him to win, but I love Ethan too so I just went with it.
Ethan: Aren't you cold?
Maddox: What do you mean?
Ethan: Well it's winter out. Aren't you cold? I'm scared of freezing to death! That would be tragic, wouldn't it? Then what? Then I guess you'd have to take over the legacy.
Maddox: Well for starters, why don't you put on a shirt?
Ethan: Why?
Maddox: Nevermind.

So I had Maddox invite Aurora over to get moving on their marriage again.
Maddox: I know this seems crazy, but you love me and I love you, and would you please come in?
Aurora: Yeah, alright.

Man this update is boring and repetitive.. anyways. First kiss as a married couple (again).

Savannah: Hi Ethan.

Savannah: Uh, sure?
Savannah: How did I get suckered into teaching the crazy kid how to drive?
I sent all the teens to go and meet their significant others again. This time I am just focusing on the one that matters. Remember this?
Janessa: Ethan, you're not going to hurt me, are you?
Ethan: I might be insane, and an ass at times, but I'm definitely not crazy or stupid enough to let you go. You should be more concerned that you're stuck with me for the rest of our lives.
Janessa: Something about that sounds pretty... perfect.
Ethan: Good.
First kiss a success, again.
Ethan: This dating thing's a piece of cake! No effort required.

Back at home...
Reed: Are you sure this is safe Chloe?
Chloe: Relax little brother. This is supposed to relieve tension and daily stresses, which you seem to have a lot of...
Reed: I'm serious Chloe, you have done this before right?
Chloe: I'm serious too! Just shut up and relax!
Chloe: Jeez you're a wuss. It's not like I will intentionally paralyze you. IF I do, it would totally be a mistake.
Reed: Okay! I've had enough! Take these stupid things out of me, NOW!
Chloe: Whatever, baby.

Ethan: He thinks he's SO cool ...
Who?
Ethan: I'm Ethan, and I think I am better than everyone in the whole world.
Ah.. crazy moment. Got ya.
I sent Deandre to go and visit his son and Chloe and Reed tagged along to see their boos.
Deandre: Maddox, what happened? You look older than me!
I almost died laughing when I saw this. I fixed it though, don't worry.
A very preggo Aurora was there also.
ps. I don't know if she's a vamp anymore ... ?
Apparently she was VERY preggo cause she went into labour a couple hours later. I sent Deandre to take her to the hospital.
She had a little boy they named Donell. The first baby of generation 4 guys!! Spare or not, I'm pretty excited!
Chloe immediately took it upon herself to play with her new little nephew while the rest of the house slept.
And I'll end the update with a peak at what little Donell looks like. He's freaken adorable but basically a clone of Maddox. I hope they have more babies <3
Well, I hope you enjoyed! I am sorry that this was basically a filler chapter until Ethan ages up. Which is still 10 days away! So I will limit what I take pics of until then.
