Hey all!

Sorry for the lack of productiveness, but I'm back in action now (after writing a nice, 15 page paper on the geological features of Iceland *slams head into desk*). Ugh. Anyways. Moving on.

great post!

i think perhaps i shall see the 9/11 flick when it comes out on video. i'm just still not convinced it would be smart of me to pay nione bucks to see a film that i know very well does not tell the whole story. no, i'm not a republican. i too am as liberal as they come. It's not that it's biased. It's that he said he cut out information. For example, i believe at some point he interveiws a congressman, trying to get him to sign his relatives up for the draft or something, to make the argument that relatives of politicians are protected from the possibility of being sent to war. The man refuses to talk to moore at first. then he stops, and moore asks him to sign this petition or whatever it was, the man pauses, then the film cuts so that it looks as though this man's stunned silence was some sort of an admission of guilt. What the audience never gets to see, however, was the congressman telling moore that his son was leaving for iraq the next weekend.
it's just that sort of thing...that incomplete story telling....that has really turned me off to this movie.
