So, i have (in this case, a phone) by company A, you have one from company G. We’re both happy with the product we have, there should be no problem, right? Wrong.

The amount of times i’ve been talking to a fellow company A customer about said phone and had a company G customer jump in and rag on our chosen product is now getting to a point of utter

I too have met my share of elitist pricks, normally in discussions over video game consoles or PC vs Mac. I find the most satisfying way to stifle their rage is to laugh at how stupid they are for giving a shit about what electronics I prefer. Few things shut them up for as quickly or as long.

if they people in question were rage-y, that might be an option... but they're the sort who take the superior route... the one where you just want to smack them... and the person who was the final straw here had not long before snapped at Neo for not knowing something he couldn't possibly have known... given he isn't even in the channel where it was said.
