Back From Weird Place
Recovering from a week-long trip to Disney World. It was fun in a sort of exhausting way. As a proof of concept for traveling with the kid, it wasn't bad - turns out she has absolutely zero problems with airplanes or sleeping in hotels.
Disney World is definitely best for older kids though. She cried when she was too short for rides and she couldn't keep up by walking, so we ended up having to carry her around most of the time - which was still better than trying to wrestle a stroller through the crowds and on/off transports. I also wish we'd all been able to sleep more. We still had fun overall but there was a lot of tired crankiness throughout the trip.
I want to know where Disney gets their fireworks. I swear there were things in the fireworks shows that I'd never seen before in my life.
In other news, for anyone who cares, the relaunch and associated purview expansion of Liminal Nation has occurred.
