About five years ago...
I made a post containing the following paragraph. I just ran across it and laughed carbonated water through my nose. (Ouch.)
I am thinking about far too many things... I'm worrying about a Christmas present I still haven't sent, and the thank-you notes I still haven't written. I'm wondering what I should do with my hair, because it desperately needs to have something done with it... I need to clean the house, sort through all my clothes and other belongings and get rid of about half of everything I own, build a fence around the garden in the back yard, hang two light fixtures, finish painting the kitchen, make vet appointments for all the pets and enroll the puppy in obedience school, make a shopping list for next week's groceries, sign up for next semester's Aikido class, pay bills, and get my boots fixed... I wonder why I can't ever seem to find time to read or draw or paint...
The reason, my dear readers, that this was so amusing - to me, at any rate - is that, with the exception of only THREE items...
all of these are either STILL on my to-do list, or are on my to-do list AGAIN.
And so it goes.
