¤ Abortion; for In one way, I don't believe that the government should be able to decide what a woman can or cannot do to her body, but in the same sense, women shouldn't abuse the privilege.
¤ Gay Marriage; for The way I see it, why should just straight people be able to ruin their lives? lol Seriously, I'm all for gay marriage, what's the big deal anyways?
¤ American Idol; for Hmm. I 've seen it quite a few times. It's an okay show, I can't really say that I'm against it. I love Simon! Actually, I love people who say what's on their mind, and don't hold back. Paula is so cute, and Randy... Well, he's aiight.
¤ MTV against Music Television. Where'd the music go? It's all shows now about people who want to look like Britney. lol I actually like VH1 a bit better. They play music.
¤ Cloning and Stem-Cell research; for stem-cell research, against cloning This is extremely controversial. In one sense, we shouldn't play god. But, in another sense, if we have the ability to make ourselves more efficient, more healthy, I say go for it. With all of he technological advances we've made, everyone kind of had to figure that this one would have happenend eventually anyways.
¤ Prayer in Public Schools; against I think that it's perfectly fine to worship god, however, not in school. Seperation od church and state, right? I really don't see why people make such a big deal over things like this anyways though. I wouldn't go protesting or anything, but still. I think people gt too carried away with the issues.
¤ Hot Topic; for While they may be overpriced, they have some really cute clothes.
¤ Martha Stewart; against Evil, evil, evil. Did you guys see that movie on her? Whoo. I thought I was a bitch! lol
¤ Premarital Sex; forYou usually test drive a car before you buy it, right? Same thing goes with men. Or women for that matter.
¤ Michael Jackson; against The first time he was accused, I thought, "Well, maybe he didn't do it." Now that it's the second time around, and we all know that he likes to lay in bed with little boys, eww. I don't care whether he's guilty or not, the man is just straight out creepy.
¤ Harry Potter &/or Lord of the Ringsfor They're good movies, but I still don't understand the obsession over them!
¤ Cigarettes; for We all have our vices, eh? We all know the effects of smoking, yet we still do it. Not to sound like an ass, but the way I see it, I'm going to die one say anyways, might as well live fun while I can, than live forever and be bored.
¤ Censorship; against I think that parents should censor what their children may or may not watch. Makes sense, right? What doesn't make sense is the government telling the parents what they are or aren't allowed to watch.
¤ Illegal Drugs; for Well, I'm not saying to go out and get stoned off your gourd or anything, but think about it: Illegal or not, people are going to make them or do them. I still can't understand why alcohol is legal, yet pot isn't.
¤ Underage Drinking; against There's a reason the limit is 21. When I was 18, I felt much differently, but thinking back on all of the incredibly stupid crap I did drunk and young, I understand now.
¤ Capital Punishment; against Death would be easier than life imprisonment. If you're going to do something so horribly so as to get life imprisonment, then you should sit and rot there. Why should you get the easy route out?
¤ Pornography (non-underage. kiddie porn is just wrong!); for I love porn!
