ooh. well, if you take a look at the comments of vega_star's last post, you can follow the link to take a look at the new banner mentioned in this post. its got a marilyn monroe theme with are you desiirable on it, a bit of a collage of pictures. distortedhate did a great job on it. if you would be willing to volunteer some of your time/effort to the business of promotion banners for desiirable_lj... well, ive already promised to heart you for a longlong time, but it could be changed to forever!!
the ideas i gave to the community/distortedhate for the theme-ish ideas of the banners are generally what i think would work for the community. the plan was to include (multiple) pictures, primarily of marilyn monroe, madonna, bettie page, angelina jolie, and/or other beautiful and strong women (i have nothing against beauties like xtina or whatnot, but i was thinking that more than just 'hottie' but more... desiirable sexx icon...) if you would like to do a / a couple banners with some/all of the chicks i put, others you can think of, or of 1 at a time (like... a bettie page one similar to the marilyn one distortedhate made) then i promise... uh... my undying love.
dont feel expected to do this.

dont worry about the time. good things come to those who wait and it was definately worth it. thankyou so much for doing it. its amazing.
if, as well as the awesome work you've already done, you'd like to make another/more banners with the other stars i mentioned, i would appreciate it. but dont for a second think that i insist on it, or that i dont love the one you made.
if you have the time/desire/inspiration, then yes, please do more. if you dont, dont worry about it. youve done more than enough

=o) Thanks for being understanding. I'd love to make more. I'm going to be kind of busy the next few days, but I'll see what I can do. =o) You asking me to make more, to me, is a compliment. I'm blushing. =o| It just makes me feel like you like what I did SO much you want more. -laffin- YAY!! The reason I did it with Marilyn Monroe was because the accepted/rejected banners had her on it. =o) Thanks again!!!

right on. well, thats how you should take it. i was hesitant to ask you to make more because i didnt want you to think i wanted something instead of the one you made. id love to have several for people to choose from
and yeah, i was glad that if you only did one star, it was marilyn, cuz its cute that it matches the stamps.

like i said... take it as a compliment, your work was great and i love it (did you see the userinfo?).
and only make more if you want. i dont want you to feel obligated to make anything.

whichever you prefer. right now we ve got a marilyn banner, a bettie banner, and a workinprogress angelina jolie banner going.i would love to have first and foremost as many promotional banners as we can. but it would be very nice if we wanted to have a couple sets of stamps of each bombshell

ive been thinking, and i cant come up with anymore off the top of my head. i kinda like brittany murphy (watched dont say a word last night) but i dont think she's quite the kick-ass and look-hot type. shes too... delicate i think. she'd never hold her own against madonna... lol.

hey, man. i've got until next saturday/sunday with pretty much nothing to do but pack to move back home. i have one final and one portfolio to finish. needless to say, i'll probably have plenty of time to work on something. do you want me to post 'em or put them in a comment or what?

seeing as how i like to have the illusion of some sort of power, i suppose i would prefer you commenting them. you can go to my journal and comment them there , or do em here if you really prefer. if you do em at my journal, just dont do the top post, please? any others are fine, just not the one with all the communities and tons of comments.

meh. it doesn't really look like i did much on that, does it? i had to take her out of another picture and put more beach behind her and make it not look awful. i don't mind it, but i'll keep making more and hopefully i'll progress. is there anything that you don't like about it? be completely honest, otherwise you'll have all these crap graphics that i've made and i'll notice you not using them and then i'll get sad and i'll probably cry and write things on my body like, 'not good enough!!! not good enough!!!' just like that.

only one moderation request, could you make both sets of type a little bigger? i like the ratio between the two, but i think it might help if they were a tad bit bigger.
