Obama is coming to town this evening to have a rally for our Congressman who is in a hard fight against his opponent for re-election. He himself upset the incumbent by only 727 votes 2 years ago.
I was checking news updates about the visit on a local site and I made the mistake of reading the comments which are just so stupid and vitriolic and hateful.
I'm more wrapped up in this election than I was even 2 years ago I think. We’re going to lose on Tuesday and it’s going to suck and I’m going to be really upset because the eff-ing Republicans are going to repeal the Healthcare bill, which may not have been perfect, but at least it was something that was actually trying to help people and do a good and decent thing and everything is just going to get screwed up even worse and I’m so mad about it all that I’m almost crying at work.
