Mama's gonna be so proud o' me!
Whoopee! Alright, so the elation won't last long. But I did pass the chem test, my first test in college. And not only pass, I got an 85, which translates into an A. So I start of my college career with an A. Oh the excitement.
That's all going to end by this Friday though. I have a big bio test coming up (by the way, they call tests exams in college - I think they do it to intimidate us). This test will cover a lot more, and very diverse material. The chem test was a baby's chew toy in comparison. I'm not nervous, not yet anyway. But I will probably regret the cockiness later, when I find out that I failed my bio test. I just feel so proud of myself for having gotten an A on my chem test. My suitemates and floormates did not do as well as I did, so that kinda puts a damper on things. But then, it's their own fault for preferring to go out and getting drunk and not studying instead. On the other hand, I only studied that morning, right before the test.
As per our chem prof. the tests will get a whole lot harder from now on. So yes, I will be yanked down back to earth pretty soon. But while I'm up here, I'm going to enjoy the ride and admire the view!
