I ordered two lenses for my D70s with Amazon on April 1st. After placing the order I received a confirmation email saying the possible delivery date for the items could be as late as May 31, meaning it could take two months to receive it. Now, today, I receive an email asking for approval of a delay in the shipment.

You mean to tell me you want me to say its ok that it is going to take SIX MONTHS to receive my entire order? Eff you amazon. This is the email sent to the customer service department :
I placed an order on April 1, and after placing the order discovered it may take two months to be shipped to me. Now, nearly two months later, I discover that I wont have all of my items until October, meaning over six months time to receive an order. This is completely unacceptable. I would not have expected such terrible service from such a high profile site. Also, I have had a $25 gift certificate for quite some time and the site never allows me to apply it towards my order. To say the least, I am extremely dissatisfied and will not be shopping with Amazon in the future. If this matter goes unresolved, I will cancel my $200+ purchase. Furthermore, I will see to it that everyone I know is aware of the terrible services provided by Amazon.
I WANT MY LENSES!!!%$#%@$#*&%*&^%%^$#$%#%!!!
