80s child
I cleaned out 3 garbage bags worth of stuffed animals today. I haven't seen some of these things in like 10 years, and yet they were all so familiar it felt like just yesterday I was playing with them. Sigh. I am getting old.
Toys I thought were funny/nostalgic that they don't make anymore:
1,) Rainbow Bright
2.) Popple!
3.) Cabbage Patch
4.) Hug-a-Bunch
6.) a doll/flip-up book that changed the face of the doll with each flip of a page (Little Red Riding Hood)
There were tons more that had 80's written all over them. It was fun to take a trip down memory lane. I just wish they still made some of these things today. The differences between the things I played with and what my nephew plays with are amazing. I can't even imagine what my children are going to play with.
