I'm glad you did! And I agree with you on Alex Pettyfer being too edgy for it. He isn't how I pictured Peeta to be, Hunter's perfect but sadly, I don't think he'd be playing Peeta :(
I want Alex to play Jace in the Mortal Instruments ;D and thats about it for him...i didnt really like him in the I AM NUMBER FOUR movie and i doubt he will be able to put that mild kindness that Peeta possesses to the screen... are there any ideas who is gonna play Katniss already?) i had a warming idea of sending a resume a few months back when the auditions haven't even started yet - but i grew out of it XD
I knew Alex Pettyfer was a lot of people's favourite to play Jace and I even heard he's in discussions to play the role, although I'm not too familiar with the Moral Instruments. I agree, he's a little too tough...he would be a lot more suited for Finnick, and Peeta well - he just exudes this gentleness and warmth :)
Hmmm...well, the communities have been posting LOTS of news and so far, everyone has been throwing around names. I'm honestly quite sick and tired of it...LOL I really do want the casting news to be out soon. But, the front runners seem to be Hailee Steinfield and Jennifer Lawrence - both great actresses but not what I had in mind for Katniss. Hailee's too young, and Jennifer's so curvy. I don't have anything personally against them but LOL I might just be really biased :D
i don't why but the obsession with Steinfield somehow annoys me...for me she doesnt fit at all...Lawrence maybe - id have to watch the Winters Bone just to be sure so far i ve only seen a bit of her acting chops....wish theyd pick Kaya =) although i dont really like her in real life if she can put sth in Katniss the way she did with Effy in sn3 maybe it all works out XD
Yeah, the obsession with Steinfield has been getting on my nerves too. I haven't watched Winter's Bone either - people have been raving about that movie and saying that there's where they see Katniss. I hoenstly see a lot of parallels in Effy and Katniss, and Kaya has always been who I pictured so she has always been my personal favourite :) But now, I just really want some definite casting news - it's been a question mark for soooo long!
i doubt that they will find smb perfect - like Daniel Radcliffe for the role of Harry Potter...i feel ya girl! i wish they would just get done with it already or stopped posting this flying bullshit around XD
