I've been here for a little more than six months now. It feels like it's been longer.

I found a helmet down in the Yard, in a rusty oven full of styrofoam pieces. I don't recognize it, but it's a fighter pilot's helmet. And one that's not in terrible condition, either. There was this rubbery part that I think was from a connected oxygen mask or something, but it's torn and parts are missing, anyway.
It looks like this thing's made it through a war. I was able to fix the hinges that let the face shield raise and lower, and the ear flaps, but I'm not sure about this dent. Anyone care to take a look at it? There's enough padding inside that I'm not sure if I can just hammer it out.
And... hmm. Does anyone have paint that works on metal? This is pretty scratched, but it looks like it was orange once.
