It's like last time. I'm an idiot. I'm constantly angry, sad, thinking about girls - I feel dramatic, like whatever I'm doing is more important. When I make myself slow down and think, I start brooding about being a karking amnesiac!
I... not really. Most of what I do in my downtime is flying or friends. I try to keep busy.
There's Syal. But there's a lot of waiting involved there, so not today. There's work, but I've already logged a lot of time dragging things up from the Yard today. There's helping 00 move the garbage trolleys, which I did last time she was too young to push them, but -
Huh. The garbage goes into chutes. Where do the chutes go?
I see. I've been spending much of my time with Veda lately- He's become a very small puppy lately, and I'm concerned about him-- not to mention how he's been getting out lately. There are always books to read and the like, too.
The chute? To some sort of processor or incinerator built down into the island, I assume.
If I don't come back, there's a notebook in [instructions. Which are promptly inked over. Basically, Dyad's told to find the notebook and write a weird coded phrase into his journal.]
It probably doesn't go anywhere, but I'd rather someone knew what happened.
[A pause- his handwriting's probably a bit different.]

Usually I don't notice. I'm just - angrier today.

At least you're still in a functional state, though, and it doesn't seem to be lasting too long.

I don't want to get complacent.
I already tried going out through the top, the day after the race. Might as well see if I can get out through the bottom.
