Biggs says I've been missing for a few days.  It didn't feel like that long, but going by the other journals, this sort of thing has happened before ( Read more... )

[Pen taps. Saying 'I told you so' would be undignified.]

Hopefully the next shift in the Wilderness will leave it as something less [pause] horrific.

[He would roll his eyes and say something about hindsight.]

I've heard that it's not usually that bad. Honestly though, I wouldn't be surprised if it became the heart of a star or something.

[She would look stern and say something about leaving well enough alone.]

It has become an almost-nude beach before; less dangerous and more embarrassing, but I would have been more happy not to be there during the shift. It took me quite by surprise.

In any case, it is probably best not to be there during the shift, whatever it changes into.

[He would ignore this completely. Rogue cares not for this common sense thing.]

[He would then ping her for the Doctor, orz.]

When a person stepped out of the lift onto the beach, it removed all their clothing. It was kind enough to place yellow privacy bars over the [pause, pen taps] genitalia, but oddly enough each person could only see the bars of others; if one looked down at oneself, it appeared as though one were entirely naked.

It returned the appropriate clothing when people left, but it was rather awkward finding a person willing to come and help you find the lift if you were down there alone.

[There's a scary thought.]

What?

...I guess, given everything else, it's not like undressing people is far-fetched, but that's... weird. Were these bars tangible?

I [he started to write "I wish I could've seen that", then realized how it would be taken] That does sound awkward.

I [slight hesitation] don't know. I did not stick around long enough to do any experimentation, but I rather doubt it since they were obviously not connected to anything.

Mmm.
