[He's making an effort at better handwriting by going slowly and deliberately, and it helps that he's writing on a flat surface in temporary housing, but the lines all waver and slope a little on the right side. Rogue will get better at this pen-and-paper thing.]
There's a part of the Wilderness that's swampy, though it's just as dead there as anywhere else. There are bodies under the surface. Dozens of them, probably more - the swamp stretched on as far as I could see, and I could see far. They look human-shaped, and I didn't smell them rotting.

Fred said that that might just have been "buried" there. But I just get the feeling that they weren't. I know they'll be gone when that place changes again. Maybe they aren't even real bodies. Something just doesn't seem right about leaving them like that, though.
Has anyone else been there?
