Exhausted...
Yes Yes don't be so shocked that I am posting. =) I just figured that today was such a good day that I should post about it and also for once I am home opps not home in a hotel room at a somewhat descent hour and rather than do work like I usually do I figured I would update those folks who might care.
Lets see.. October to May I was working in New Jersey... had a trip to Spain in there to see the most wonderful Benja.. visited friends in New York a couple of times. Made new friends in New York and Jersey missed my old friends like crazy.. went to florida for spring break with the kids and in general all is well on the career front.
May to present - Now have a gig in Atlanta so not traveling so much. My bike was stolen by some thug boys and this time we have decided to move. I am not happy with being afraid to drive home at night. Spent a weekend in Denver about 2 weeks ago for ThoughtWorks Away Day and had a blast (recovery was difficult). Hung out with my sister and my mom on mothers day and saw my most handsome little Dresden.. now I am in Portland Oregon (a place I have never been before) exhausted from hiking up and down mountains all day to look at pretty waterfalls. I saw 5 different waterfalls today! and a very large snow capped mountain. There are lots of details I could post but I have the memories locked away in my brain and it was such a serene day for me all alone hanging out with mother nature that I don't think I am likely to forget it.
