So.
Interview + Personality test today.
During the course of the interview, the VP kept focusing on my education plans. She asked me why I liked Library Science and Information Architecture, and I told her about my love of information management and organization. She seemed really intrigued. She also asked which environment I would prefer. Working in a call center (the job I was applying for) or working in data management. I said that I honestly feel drawn to both in different ways.
Anyway, the reason she was asking, is because there is another position available in Records Management that she thinks I would be a great fit for. Perhaps even more so than the position I was interviewing for. She wants to think about it a bit, and then if they decide to hire me, have me come in and observe both departments to see which I think would be a better fit for me.
So, fingers crossed? I don't know. I still worry, because even though this all sounds great, it's not "you're hired." Until I hear that, I'm going to worry.
