There's been this spider in my bathroom for a few weeks. I kind of liked her because she just chilled by the shower and mostly because there was a noticeable decrease in the creepy drain fly population. We also have ants so it's like a little zoo in my bathroom. Add in the prokaryotes and you have a party. Anyway. So today my suitemates, who were not as fond of the spider noticed a little sac. Uh oh. Baby shower time. Anyway, to make a short story shorter, it all ended up with me, a screaming suitemate, my flip flop, and a not-so-satisfying >crunch< signaling the end of my little fly-ingesting friend. I also had to scrape the egg sac off of the wall which was a little depressing since it occurred to me that I had wiped out a genome. :::Sigh::: Okay, well I just wanted to post a post mortem note to anyone who cared, or mostly me. Just think twice before squishing any arachnids, usually they're eating something less pleasant. I guess I'll have swarms of drain flies to look forward to...oh well.
