The Birdcage is a great movie. Hank Azaria is definitely the best character in that entire movie...the Guatemalan gay maid. Heh. Anyway. So it's been a while. This week has been totally insane. Last weekend we had two races, one in Pelham, NY and the other in South Hadley, MA. We placed second at the first race and first at the second so I got hurled into the chilly Connecticut River, but it was well worth it. This week I've been running around like a total nutcase but it's almost over thankfully. I had to organize the crew ergathon fundraiser. We rowed 1 million meters in less than 24 hours. Go us. I also had two exams this week, psych went okay but I think I nailed the bio exam. I'm so frustrated with school. I get IMs from people asking about when quizzes are and what they're on and stuff and I feel so annoyed because I go to class and study and I wish people would be more responsible. Furthermore, I'm still getting about the same exam scores or lower in some cases than the people I'm reminding about the exams. I feel like I'm wasting my time studying but I know that if I didn't study I'd do even worse. The only case where this is an exception is chemistry. I just wish I could see results from the work that I'm doing. Speaking of work, I found a summer job. Yay. Or rather I just harassed Keith until he gave me my job back from last summer so I'm working at BAE again, which I'm happy about. They finally called me back with an offer package so it's definite. What else? Oh, my mom sent me a care package with food so I'm happy and yesterday we rowed in the rain and it was, well, wet and cold. So Craig came over after practice and we ate microwaveable chicken pot pie and watched the Birdcage and I was much drier and happier. We have another two races this weekend which I'm kind of looking forward to but I really wouldn't mind a break, like maybe a day. But Easter is coming up and I'll be relieved to have the weekend off. Though it will be insane trying to see people and get through dinner and everything, but nice all the same I suppose. Anyway, back to the grinding stone. Adios.
