Definition of Crew:
A sport done in long boats seating up to eight rowers on hard seats that roll back and forth (a method in which i piss off my coxwain because it shakes the boat) each person has one oar, either on the STARBOARD or PORT side and a number from BOW (first seat) to STROKE (last seat, 8 seat). a ridiculously small person who is often quite bitchy yells commands such as "weigh enough" and in our case "shut the fuck up!" at the rowers who get up at the crack of dawn to go to regattas (races) in other states. Crew is not a cult, but a group of tightly knit people with talent and dedication.
