Imageshack, why did you eat/lose/annihilate the topmost picture of my LJ layout? That was the best part, too, cause it had all those pictures of Hector in it. While it's true, I could just upload it again from my computer and fix it, that would require effort on my part and fiddling around with the HTML in my layout, and I am feeling lazy and uninspired at the moment.
Secondly, I was actually looking around for a new layout, and this was the perfect excuse to finally do so. However, I can't find any that I like. Maybe I should just buck it up and learn how to make them myself *is intimidated* since no one as of yet has done a Joker themed one. And yet there are a million and a half Firefly and various fandom ones. Sigh.
EDIT: Bother it all, I fixed it anyways. Go me XD But I'm still going to flog Imageshack for eating my yummy pic anyways.
And speaking of graphics, I've been looking at a lot of the tutorials and icon communities on LJ. Can someone please tell me WHY, for the love of all that is good and green and decent, do so many people make icons and banners featuring the Olsen Twins, Paris Hilton, and Brittney Spears. Just . . . WHY?! What exactly have these people done, especially recently, to warrant so much blatant icon-worship? Aside from making fools of themselves for the media, anyways. Forgive me if I seem ignorant, but if I see one more post or tut featuring these gals, I might just hafta put a smile on someone's face, or make a pencil disappear, perhaps.
Anywho, enough ranting. The week is almost over, which gets a huge HUZZAH in itself, right? Right! Yay. I'm in a weird mood these past few days. Ever since a particularly unexpected and entirely inappropriate dream, my admiration for this character has been . . . persistent. I've had to go back and re-watch all the episodes he's featured in a lot. He's just cute as hell, LOL. The fact that Michael Emerson has one of the most adorable personalities EVER in real life is icing on the cake.
