Argh, I knew it was only a matter of time before this happened. A lot of people have had this cold bug that's going around lately. I'd just started thinking myself pretty fortunate since I didn't catch it from Kenny, or Brenda, or Carmen, or any of the zillion customers who came through buying cold meds, and I didn't even catch it from my Mom, whom I share a house with. Monday I woke up not feeling so hot though, and today I definitely feel like poo-poo. First day back after two days off, too. And I was safety sweeping for the first five hours (pushing a broom around the store. And around, and around, and around). I thought about asking to go home early, but I toughed it out and I'm glad. The Pharmacy manager stopped and talked to me and said he's going to talk to management tomorrow to make sure my drug screen and background check have all come back and get me transferred to his department, probably starting Saturday. He'll find me tomorrow and get me my new schedule. YAY! No more front end, no more front end! *does a happy dance* I'm almost certain this means I won't be working Black Friday, and I'm pretty sure I'll get most holidays off too, since the Pharm is closed those days! It also closes at 9PM, so no more insanely late nights.
I bought How To Train Your Dragon the other day, OMG LOVE. This is one of the best movies I've seen in a while, and Toothless is sooooo cute! I bought a figure of him and I'm going to either hang it from my rearview mirror or mount him on the dashboard of my truck, LOL. Not to mention the soundtrack is pretty great, too.
