Impending DOOM!
It really did feel like impending doom. I went in for an interview at my old Wal-Mart store today. They hired me on.
It's only a temporary position for now, they're doing a complete store remodel and I'll be helping set up departments. But last time they remodeled, they kept a good number of the crew as permanent employees, so I'm hoping they'll do it again. It's hardly what I wanted, but at this point and especially during this time, I can't be picky about who is willing to give me a paycheck, so I'm pretty pleased. Now if I could just get rid of this awful cold . . .
