Happy Holidays! (War on Christmas? What are you talking about?)
Two crazy Indian parties in the past two days = tons of family and friends + Antakshari (women vs. men) + random outbursts of dancing + stupid shoe tradition (we all pretend to hate it, but secretly can't wait, lol) + too many presents all in one place + enough food to feed a small third world nation, with leftovers, a la my mom. It may not be our holiday season, but we celebrate, Indian-style, anyways. For us, it's not about celebrating Christmas as much as it is just another time in the year to see everyone you love and be happy in each other's company :)
*whew, overload of sappiness, that'll hold me over until next year*
Because of my stupid finals schedule and our New Year's/Christmas plans, I feel like I haven't seen any of you at all since I've been home...I miss my lunch group! Plans for this week/next week? Lunch with the lunch group/movies/general hanging out? When is everyone free?
Time to watch Friends Season 10, and finish yesterday's cake. Hope you all had a great Christmas!
