I learned a new term yesterday: Steampunk
Steampunk is like a brother to cyberpunk in the fiction work except for the worlds are usually filled with over the top steam driven technology and set in a more historical era:

I found this interesting because as I glance over the list of items classified as Steampunk I find that I've enjoyed most of them that I've encountered. I just never knew it was it's own genre before.
I definitely want to add a steampunk story to my written collection at some point.
