So I still check this thing.

But I haven't done a proper entry in a long while and I was siting here thinking that I could.

But at the same time there isn't much overall for me to yap about.

The old place got a new manager that played by the rules, the old one ignored the fact people had cats in the building, the new one was all RAWR GET THEM OUT. So our kitties spent 2 weeks in a kennel while we looked for a new place. Which you think would be very easy!

Oh yeah we didn't move just for the cats. The noise of the neighbors was getting worse and worse, the lady below us I guess has been broken into and the double charged 3 times on rent(Dev deployed and did personal checks that they cashed two in one month twice, and then they found an extra one dated 6 months and decided to cash it, didn't even call and ask about it, or notice oh hey he's already paid).

Finding the apartment was the most nerve recking thing I've dealt with in a long time. It's not that there weren't a lot of them around but most where further into the city and not in airway heights. So no matter what one we ended up at we where going to have to deal with the fact that Dev would have a longer commute to work(thats turned out to be fine by the way). Since he'd have to spend more on gas then, I started looking for a place that was less then we where paying at the old place. That was the easy part! The hard part was finding one that wasn't doing a whole low income thing. Every place I checked out(mind you theres 3 of us) had a 30-35K cap for 3 people. And the other thing was finding a place that allowed cats.

You know I'd love to own a building I'd allow people to have fucking cats and however many they fucking want!

Finally I found a place not to far off the interstate and they allowed up to two cats. when we came in to look it made it so there was no other reason to keep looking. The one we did look at hadn't been renovated yet but was still nice. the kitchen was bigger, had way more space, the stove was nicer, it had OMG closets! 3 in total that made me VERY happy. Mind you Dev turned what should be my linen closet into a place to hide his games >> but I can deal with that <<. The dining and living room is smaller cause of it but it fits our stuff still nice enough for it to not matter. The master is about the same size just not as annoyingly shaped, and theres no sink in there for us to not use making it smell when we do throw some water in it. The second room is about the same size and yay! the bathroom isn't funny shaped and has a decent storage in it.

The other place had all these weird angles and shit in it.

Slephie we got her fixed before we had to put them in the kennel and when we went and picked her up to take her to get the stitches out had a fit the whole way there when she's normally good in the car then she slept the whole way back. We where able to put her in his cage when we got back and she seemed happy enough to stay. but when we got there i walked threw the door as dev went to pay and when she saw me come in she arched her back but as soon as I said "hey baby" she freaked, meowing at the top of her lungs, I couldn't get the cage open fast enough for her.

Then we dealt with a good 2 weeks of them having issues any time we left. Though they like the new place too, theres a lot of birds around so they're constantly going at the windows after them.

Devs room mate got back form his deployment early, not such a horrible thing,, he's a nice guy and all but he can be rather annoying. they're working different shifts so he tends to come in and yap until he goes to ed which is somewhat annoying but nothing I can do about it. He moves out at the end of June and Devs offered to let his brother move in so he can comes back to Washington(his parents moved to Georgia almost a year ago).

and I think thats it overall.
