Done?
I'm having a hard time getting this through my head. The school year is really done? I don't have to give student X the absent work for a fifth time, never to see it again? No more getting crap when I confiscate a cell phone that rings during class? No foot-high pile of work to grade? No more wondering who is going to pass and who is going to fail?
I woke up at 4 AM, unable to go back to sleep until nearly 7 or so. Hopefully that will end soon.
I can do my summer job now -- sewing! :)
Immediate list of Things To Get Done in the next few weeks:
commissions: 3 Norman-style tunics for Bellan, plus 3 undertunics to go with them, shirt for Thom, can't remember what else this fantastic couple wanted by Pennsic
sales: at least 10 tunics for Isaac's Wandering Mercantile to sell on consignment. He'll want more, but I'm not sure it'll happen this time. I can start on this after KWDS, at least.
Self: underskirt out of some leftover brocade, possibly a 1520 Venetian ribbon dress that's caught my eye if I've time right before Pennsic
Jody: finish salmon jerkin, 2nd fencing shirt, brown linen tunic, blue brocade hat to go with his blue brocade doublet and venetians
Del: finish the purple outfit that was started two years ago, cause I'll see him again at KWDS! (think of it this way -- you get an outfit done after two extra years of experience) :)
