Holy fucking SHIT, woman. This comment is above and beyond anything I was expecting, or deserved, after all the incredible support you provided through the whole editing process - not to mention the fact that you CAME UP WITH so much of the plot itself! ♥_________♥ you spoil me to DEATH and I cannot wait for when I have the time to spend a whole evening listening to yours with my notepad out so I can write you a proper comment on it too.

I'm really, really glad the beginning worked for you - set the stage and also provided a bit of a different backdrop to compare things to, when they get heavier later on... and Frank being just SO HAPPY about what they're doing! Boys/happiness, still one of my favourite pairings :D

Half of the reason that I love reading your words is because they are so beautiful, and this is no exception. Once again, it's an idea that I've NEVER heard before, but as soon as I read it, I thought: YES. THIS.

THANK YOU. Ugh. THANK YOU. I don't know why, but I often spend a lot of time looking at maps and images and reading up about the cities, climates, landscape and feel of the places my fics are set... I know that not everyone pays that much attention to them, especially not boys who grew up in Jersey basements, LOL, but I DO think these things shape how they engage with those spaces - and especially how they feel in them compared to the climate/landscape/feel of wherever they call home, y'know? So it was interesting, here, to explore that a bit in the feeling of LA. I still am really fascinated that 3/4 of the band has moved to LA from Jersey, and how WILDLY different places they are, and also that celebrity sort of culture that LA has... sometimes I can't reconcile it with who I know Mikey, Gerard and Ray to be, y'know? I'd love to write more about it someday. LOL rant! But regardless: I'm glad you found it interesting and it brought something to the story, for you! <3

I'm so so sooooo happy that Frank's inspiration to photograph Gerard felt natural, instinctual, at first... and:

The description throughout the fic of what Frank is SEEING through the camera, the way he sees Gerard and the way you frame the description so that we can easily imagine the piece of Gerard that Frank is seeing through his viewfinder

:DDDDDDD THANK YOU. I was really picturing it just like that in my head, and wanted to convey that somehow. It means SO MUCH to know that it came through to you! And FUCK YES when the mood changes and things get charged, >:) SO MUCH FUN TO WRITE

I totally get why Frank stays and takes that first shot, you know? And that was a hard thing to get across, and you did it so well.

♥ Seriously. I was SO NERVOUS about this, about how to make this feel organic and like it just happened out of those feelings and that moment. SO SO HAPPY you felt this way :D

I'm so glad the distance that Frank feels from his own body came across, and made sense, too! I enjoy the voyeurism kink too, and one of the things I like most about it is how it makes the watcher feel (or NOT feel) about their OWN body in relation to the body/bodies they're watching, y'know? And it feels like there's a LINE, too, a line of comfort and/or consent, whereby watching is one thing but watching and touching YOURSELF at the same time is another, it feels more active, more sexual... so I tried to work that in here, have Frank keep his own lines!

I AGREE ABOUT ALL THE SEXY LINES YOU QUOTED, BECAUSE I GOT TO LISTEN TO YOU READ THEM *___________* GUHHHHH

I totally agree, I love the camera-fake-out-grab too (although, LOL, that was DEFINTIELY YOUR AWESOME IDEA so you get to take full credit) and yessss that kiss, the OPENING that happens when Gerard runs his tongue along Frank's lips. I really loved imagining that too, I'm so glad you felt connected to it.
