Just got out of Design of Information. Seems pretty cool - but then, how could a class where one of the references is going to be McCloud's Understanding Comics not be cool (which I just finally read last Tuesday, amusingly enough)? Hopefully Software Engineering won't seem so cool, so the decision about which to drop will be easy :).
I'm going to have to do some kind of journal thing for the course. Since I also will probably want do some of them right after class or whatever, and will have to be staying on campus pretty much all day, at least some of them will probably end up being LJ entries (so I don't have to worry about legibility of handwriting, or whether I forgot a certain notebook, or whatever). Therefore, I intend to make a filter for those. And probably a new icon for them, too. But anyway. If you want in (it'll consist of things like thoughts on ways of presenting information and interfaces, and practical implementation ideas, and things to look at for ideas and so forth), let me know. Unless you're jazzfish, in which case, let me know if you don't want in, since I recall you saying something to the effect of desiring to be added to all filters.
