Solicitation for book recommendations
So. I've got a day in January on which I get 10% off everything at Border's, plus a gift card, and some random other stuff, which basically means that some night prior to Thursday, I'm probably stopping by Borders and buying some books. While there are a few things I'm leaning towards probably purchasing, I would appreciate some recommendations as well. For instance, I believe a certain jazzfish mentioned I should read some John M. Ford (as well as uilos, but I believe jazzfish said it first) - are there any of his works I should put higher priority on reading/buying, or would I be good with any of them? Feel free to suggest whatever, even if you think I may (or should) already be aware of the author or work in question, as there are so many books that I intend to acquire, that getting reminded about something is not of the bad.
