Hooray!
I am now a gainfully employed person. :-) I applied last week at Tricore, to work in their labs. I like the people - and apparently they liked me, too. The HR person who called said the person who will be my boss has been in her office all week, asking her if they had called me yet. :-) That's the kind of boss I want - someone who really wants me there.
Now all that stands between me and having to be at work at 7:30am is a drug test and a TB test.
It doesn't pay as much as I needed, but there are six month reviews with raises, and opportunities for advancement, so I think I'll be okay. The student loan people will just have to wait.
All this means I will stop sulking and hiding and freaking out and stuff, and be back to your regularly scheduled (albeit sleepy) Jenny.
