This is how far I got today, sideways, from donated blocks. There are three more rows of 5 to sew together, and then borders. I would love it without borders, personally, but it won't be wide enough. These are 8 inch finished blocks . I had to trim them to make them all the same size, and I thought cutting off the points might ruin the whole thing, but I love it. I'm tempted to use some of my own scraps to make similar blocks now.
I also got this far on making a skirt for a little girl. This is the overskirt and I wanted to get the drawstring channel and drawstring part done today. Tomorrow, with luck, I'll do the underskirt, gather both onto the waistband, and get the elastic in. By next weekend, for sure. The underskirt is lighter pink and says "Love" in script all over it.

Sparkle Jane won for her quilt show entry. I'm so proud to say I own 5 of her wallhangings!
